Based on a panel found in the 16th century in the Bordeaux region, attributed
to the "Ateliers de Flandres" (Brussels) circa 1500.
This tapestry is on a view at the "Hotel de Cluny" (Paris).
As shown in this masterpiece of medieval art, one of the nobility's favourite
past-time during this period was falconing, also known as "Merry Lunting"
or "Hawking" in the 16th century.
