In 1767, the painter Doyen, (dean) got the order from a courtier to paint his mistress on a swing, pushed by a bishop, the Lord himself hidden in the trees and watching at his Lady from under her petticoats.  Doyen, scandilized about this, recommanded Fragonard, best known for this kind of romantic intrigues.
