Here the characters are more important than the setting. After the wedding, the guests enjoy themselves to the full. Some of them are drinking and conversing happily; the youngest dance to the strains of a violin. One can also see the lords and ladies of the manor who have come to pay a visit to their people on the occasion of the wedding. These scenes from pleasant life had so much success that they were reproduce in France.
